Talent Latent 2008 / The Tour Continues

The 2008 edition of Talent Latent has been organised into a travelling showcase by the Directorate of Cultural Cooperation of the Department of Culture and Communication. So far, it has visited Mataró, Sabadell and  Prat de Llobregat, and during 2009 it will continue its tour, visiting Girona, Olot, Vilanova i la Geltrú, Terrassa and Ripollet.

The collection gathers the work of fifteen artists from eleven different countries of Europe, America and Asia in the early stages of their carees. At each venue you will be able to see a selection of the pieces that formed part of  Talent Latent held in Tarragona last year.

The artists who form part of Talent Latent 08 are  Magda Stanová (Slovakia), David Ferrando (Spain), Fiona Hackett (Ireland), Núria Güell (Spain), Bruno Arbesú (Spain), Moira Ricci (Italy), Ewa Axelrad (Poland), Donatella di Cicco (Italy), Tehnica Schweiz (Hungary), Nico Baumgarten (Germany), Aleix Plademunt (Spain), Ugnius Gelguda (Lithuania), Ali Taptik (Turkey), Carla Verea (Mexico) and Yann Gross (Switzerland).

True to the testimonial aspect of photography, the exhibition offers a new vision of the age in which we live, and reflects on the role that the image plays in the shaping of society.
