Talent Latent 08, the Grand Laus Design Prize

The prestigious European awards, Laus, awarded their 39th  prize for originality in graphic image to Talent Latent 08. The exhibition was a collection of the works of 15 photographers from eleven different countries in Europe, America and Asia, all selected for the 2008 edition of SCAN. As with the artists participating in this year's edition, each artists shows us  a different view and use of photography.

At the moment you can see some of the pieces of Talent Latent 08 in Girona, where the exhibition will remain until 7 June. Later, you can find it at Olot, Vilanova i la Geltrú, Terrassa and Ripollet. Each one of these city councils will be the venue for a part of the works which made up the original show. We will keep informing you on this website of the dates and the pieces which make up the intinerant exhibition.

The multiple aims of Talent Latent 08 are illustrated in the catalogue designed by Bildi Grafiks. Its striking holographic cover lets you, according to the angle at which you look at it, see the name of each artist and the work they have included in the show. With another movement, the name Talent Latent appears before your eyes, encapsulating the message that SCAN hopes to transmit with this edition.
